KYLE JOHNS

Kyle Johns is an East Texas native from Longview. He has an Associate’s Degree in Telecommunications and is a licensed helicopter pilot. Kyle started residential construction in 1996 and his love for a challenge soon led him further into the construction industry, where his eye for detail, knowledge of construction and interpersonal skills ensure his projects are a success. Education has always been important to Kyle. He has pursued an education in the construction industry earning his degree as a Graduate Master Builder. He is also designated as a Certified Green Professional with the National Association of Home Builders in the state of Texas.

Kyle is an exclusive luxury home builder. As a client, you will communicate directly with Kyle regarding every aspect of your project. He only accepts 3 to 5 projects a year based on the size of each job. Limiting the number of projects allows Kyle to dedicate quality time to each project and to communicate with his clients. His enjoyment of providing a top-quality product and developing a close relationship with owners has kept him strong in the industry. JANA JOHNS

Jana Johns is an Architectural Designer at KJ Homes by Kyle and Jana Johns, a building construction firm in East Texas specializing in the design and construction of luxury homes. Since 1996, Jana has designed and provided architectural services for a diverse range of projects, including single and multi-family residential homes, commercial and municipal construction for numerous general contractors, builders and individuals serving the East Texas area and worldwide. Most projects include design layouts and preparation of construction documents in AutoCAD. A native of Tyler, Texas, Jana earned her Associate of Arts Degree from Tyler Junior College where she graduated cum laude.

Jana first worked with KJ Homes by Kyle and Jana Johns in 2003 as an Architectural Designer where she learned about Residential Energy Code Compliance and the City of Tyler’s Codes, Ordinances and regulations. Today, with over 20 years of professional experience, Jana oversees all the planning and designing of residential projects with KJ Homes by Kyle and Jana Johns. Prior to her partnership with KJ Homes by Kyle and Jana Johns, Jana Johns was the owner of Custom Home Design in Tyler, Texas. Her designs have been featured in many TABA Parade of Homes in East Texas. As well as working alongside Kyle, she also takes on her own additional jobs and works independently.
